The new year brings around a landmark year in Tryon Palace’s history – the 250th birthday of Royal Governor William Tryon opening his “Palace” as the seat of North Carolina’s colonial government. To mark the occasion, we’re excited to bring you a year of exciting programming that will educate, entertain, and involve you in New Bern and North Carolina’s past, present, and future.
