Don’t miss this holiday classic set in New York City in the late 1940s, single mother, Doris Walker (Megan Green), doesn’t want her young daughter Susan’s (Louisa Reno) head filled with romantic notions. Their neighbor, Fred Gailey (Frederick Angoco, Jr.), tries to woo Doris by charming Susan and taking her to see Santa Claus at Macy’s, where Doris works. Doris is not impressed, but when it turns out that Macy’s Santa may, in fact, be the real Kris Kringle (Angel Santos), a wave of love spreads across New York City that melts even the most cynical hearts.
Tickets: $18 and $10 for children/students with ID. Tickets are available online at www.rivertowneplayers.org/tickets or at Nautical Wheelers in downtown New Bern (202-A Craven Street). As always Rivertowne Players would like to thank the sponsors of the show including the 2019 Season Sponsor Hyundai of New Bern.
