Jackson is an adorable, puffy white Bichon Frise, merely six years old, but much wiser than his years, known for his delightful sense of humor, and his expression which makes him appear like his is almost always smiling.
Much loved by his pet parent, Nils, this little pup can also get into mischief, tearing up utility bills, or chewing an antique oak captains’ chair.
But when he isn’t causing trouble he is quietly watching “The Dog Whisperer” on TV, or pretending to play fetch and then walking airily away from the ball.
Once in a while he gets tremendous bursts of energy, running around the house frantically (known as the Bichon “blitz”) and jumping from the couch and back in record speed. When he runs out of steam, he then goes for his favorite snack: Trader Joes peanut butter and banana treats.
“When I am down, he lifts me up with his energy and sense of humor,” says his owner, Nils, who is a northern California transplant, and a civil war history buff.
“My Bichon Frise sets the bar for good behavior even if that is a ‘ruff’ act to follow.”
