The NC Songwriters Showcase, and The Old Theater, are pleased to present “Made Here, Played Here” a live stage show in the style of the live radio shows of yesteryear, with fun audience engagement and original musical commercials created for the show’s sponsors.
Written and performed by The Bonafides. This musical event celebrates the music and musicians of North Carolina.
Join us as the Bonafides take you on a musical journey, telling the story of great North Carolina musicians through visuals and song. Featured artists include Doc Watson, Earl Scruggs, Avett Brothers, Nina Simone, Ben E. King, Ben Folds, Ola Bell Reed, Charlie Daniels, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Warren Haynes, James Taylor, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Red Clay Ramblers, Kruger Brothers, Balsam Range, Elizabeth Cotton, Charlie Poole and Ervin Rouse.
The Bonafides are a nine-piece band from New Bern. Made Here, Played Here is suitable for audiences of all ages. The show covers many different genres, including old-time, bluegrass, jazz, swing, rock, americana and country.
Tickets: $20 general admission and $15.00 for members, military and students. Tickets can be purchased at Nautical Wheelers, on-line or at the box office window on the date of the performance.
