Lighthouse Day

Ever wonder what a lighthouse keeper and his family do at a lighthouse? Join us for an informal day celebrating our North Carolina lighthouses. In 2016 Dallas and Marjorie Spruill, along with their grandchildren, volunteered as keepers at the Cape Lookout Lighthouse. They’ll be in costume and ready to answer any of your questions. Take a look at our new special exhibit on NC Lighthouses along our coast. Purchase raffle tickets for our many lighthouse items. Buy a post card or two depicting a NC lighthouse.  At 3pm enjoy a wine tasting presented by Nautical Wheeler’s.
