“The Lazy Days of Summer” are here! Community Artists Gallery is bursting with new art and new artists. Visit us to enjoy our Gallery on ArtWalk.
The Artists of the month are Eileen Wroe and Karen Rawson they are oil painters and Kimberly Daugherty makes knitted handbags. Doctor Paul will provide music for the evening. The “Emerging Artist” is Carol More; she creates intuitive mixed media and oil/cold wax paintings. Carol’s work is displayed in the upstairs Studio Annex, along with four studios shared by Joyce Stratton, Susan Cheatham, Belinda Scheber and Heide Lock.
Karen Rawson and Eileen Wroe are oil painters that get there inspiration from the local landscapes. They are members of the Coastal Carolina Plein Air Painters.
Community Artists Gallery & Studios is formulating a list of interested 2d artists for their emerging Artist program. Space is given to accepted artists, to show for three months in the Studio Annex. Contact Joyce Stratton jims_art@hotmail.com or Susan Cheatham susanche42@gmail.com.
