Big Guy is a gorgeous mixed breed of Maine Coon and Norwegian Forest Cat and he weighs in at an extraordinary 19 pounds!   He is 16 years old and is a rescue.

He likes to play with his miniature stuffed mice and also with loose ribbons. His favorite foods are canned tuna with cheese bits and his multi-flavored Cat Kibbles.

This kitty isn’t afraid to speak up when he is hungry!  He alerts his pet parents with a loud “MeeOWW” when he would like to be fed and doesn’t stop until he receives his food.

Big Guy sleeps with his parents and is very gentle and affectionate, even with the dog, Lola.  He loves to cuddle up with his family on the living room couch and watch TV.

Lola is a rescue from Texas and is a mixed breed of Chihuahua and Pinscher—which accounts for her prominent nose and ears.  Her breed is commonly referred to as a Chipin.

Lola enjoys long walks along New Bern’s “River Walk” and in Downtown New Bern with all of the various shops and people. She likes that water is provided by most store owners for her enjoyment.

Lola also enjoys her stuffed pets and playing fetch in her new backyard.  Another fun game is teasing the cat!

And she’ll do just about anything for some shredded chicken and “Greenie” dog treats!

Lola is special because she expresses unconditional love, loyalty and kindness.

Phil and Michelle provide their pets with a positive foundation of care and affection. In turn, their pets provide the same love to them!
